Emerson Pegg for President

I know words aren’t what define you, actions do. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your vote, because if you help someone climb a mountain, you’ll find yourself at the summit too.

I've my spent critical years gathering my own beliefs after losing my mother in 2022, and I've come to believe in legacy for the sake of posterity. To leave not just Reynolds as a brighter place, but to take the first strides to improving the whole world.

The Reynolds S.G.A and it's President needs a welcoming environment for listening to different perspectives and actually engaging in dialogue. No single voice can solve every problem, but progress is made possible when people are willing to work towards common ground. I know there’s a lot to improve. Whether it’s the disconnect with teacher and student engagement in online/HyFlex classes, to introducing just a dash more life to Reynolds with decorations, I know both student and faculty voices need to be heard.

Who Am I?

I was raised here in Richmond, but born in Colorado. I've always been beyond privileged, but I wholeheartedly believe in paying my privilege forwards. I always want to remind people to read what they believe, and I believe in the constitution.

I often reflect on all of the volunteer work I had started with my mother, and the incredible people I've met at all types of organizations. From making amazing friends at Jacob's Chance, to unbreakable relationships with families at the Forward Foundation. I'm always looking for volunteering opportunities here at Reynolds, the SPCA, and also my former High School.

I've been fortunate to have met the people I have, and I'm glad I've experienced the progress that comes from helping the world around me.

If it wasn't already obvious, I love more quotes than I can remember, so much so they don't even come to mind until my passions boil up.
